What is the AI Visibility Score?
It is a free scan of your home page. It runs 37 automatic checks in 8 factors and gives a score out of 100. The score shows how easy it is for AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude to find, read and cite your website.
What does the scan check?
It checks AI crawler access in robots.txt, structured data (JSON-LD) and its quality, content that is readable without JavaScript, page basics such as the title and headings, FAQ content and FAQ schema, business facts such as phone and address, the sitemap and llms.txt files, and authority signals such as profile links and reviews.
How is the score calculated?
Each check has a number of points. Four factors are worth 15 points each and four factors are worth 10 points each, for 100 points in total. The grades are the same as in our 50-check audit: 0 to 15 Invisible, 16 to 35 Trace, 36 to 55 Findable, 56 to 79 Quotable and 80 to 100 Cited by default.
Why does the scan score schema quality?
Schema that is present but thin or wrong does little. The scan gives 3 points if JSON-LD is present and 12 points for quality. For example, the name, phone and address in your schema must match the text on your page. Good schema makes your business facts clear and consistent. It does not guarantee that AI tools will cite you.
Does the score show what ChatGPT says about my business?
No. The scan measures if AI tools can read and cite your website. It does not ask AI tools about you. To see what AI tools say about your business, get a free AI visibility check from our team.
Why does content need to be readable without JavaScript?
Many AI crawlers read only the HTML that your server sends. They do not run JavaScript. If your text appears only after a script runs, those crawlers see an empty page.

How often should I scan my site?
Scan after each change to your website, and at least once each quarter. Results are cached for one hour, so a new scan in the same hour shows the same result.
